My three children are my pride and joy. I am married to the most understanding, supportive, and wonderful husband. My love for running, working out with friends, exploring outdoor wonders, and traveling the world brings balance to my life.
Although, I grew up without the bare necessities, such as toilet paper and electricity, I’ve always had my family’s love, wonderful memories and dreams… lot’s of them!
After teaching for 24 years and sharing my childhood stories of gratitude, hope, and resilience with my students, I finally decided to turn those memories into books.
My Amazon Best Selling picture book, Sundays with Abuelita, was inspired by my family’s immigrant story. It describes a day making memories with Abuelita in a quaint village in Mexico, while waiting to reunite with my mother.
My dream as an author is to bring light to stories with strong family bonds, struggles and joys of immigrating to a new country, and inspire others to write their own stories to share with the world.
